What you will do: Equip the book, learn two spells, use them in a real fight.
Make the book do something
- Open your inventory / menu and equip spells onto slots. Owning a spell is not the same as being able to press it.
- Press G to activate the grimoire. Then press the number for the slot you just filled.
- Use two spells in a real fight — not the training dummy in your head. One damage button. One “oh no” button if you have it (shield, dash, heal, snare).
- Note what felt fun. Fun is data. Meta is someone else’s homework.
Two kinds of spells, said plainly
Mana spells (things like Mana Wisp / Blast / Burst) come from leveling you, and they stay when the book changes. Grimoire spells come from leveling that book. If you reroll magic later, you keep the first kind and rebuild the second. That is why we do not reroll on a feeling.
