First 7 Days · Day 5 of 7

Your first named fight

For: Comfortable enough to die on purpose and learn This session: 45–60 min

What you will do: Pick one mini-boss or first real boss. Watch one telegraph. Wipe if you wipe.

A first boss is a lesson, not a résumé

Your first named fight — often a nearby mini-boss after the early quests, sometimes a proper boss — is where the game starts speaking in telegraphs. Bring people if you can. Bring patience if you cannot.

  1. Read the quest text once out loud. Know the name of the thing. Know the place.
  2. The first 20 seconds, do not dump every cooldown. Watch what the boss does when it stops walking.
  3. Big dark circle, scream, or long wind-up: walk out. Early example players mention: Venom’s black hole. The pattern is the same even when the name changes — the loud move is the one that deletes greedy new players.
  4. If you wipe, say what killed you in one sentence. That sentence is the guide. Then go again or stop for the night. Both are wins.

Loot is not the point today

If something drops, great. If it doesn’t, you still learned the language of the fight. Drop-rate pages will still be there tomorrow. Your nerve might not be, if you turn this into homework.

Checked against public sources in August 2026. The game changes. Official Trello and Discord win if we disagree.
