What “good enough” looks like after one week
You do not need a mythical race. Check what you actually have:
- You can find the menu, the book, and the code box
- You finished more than one quest on purpose
- You know whether you like hitting or casting more
- You asked one question or played with one other human
- You still want to open the game tomorrow
Four out of five is a great first week. Three is fine. One is a reason to come to Squad Night, not a reason to quit.
Your next calendar event
Saturday, August 22 · 7:00pm ET. Then the same slot every week. 60 minutes. 1 veteran + up to 3 new players, one concrete objective. Show up even if you “aren’t ready.” Ready is a myth sold by tier lists.
After the run, pick a Guide Buddy role or be one for the next New Leaf. The fastest way to lock in Day 1–6 is to say it out loud to someone newer than you.
